The Flat- Master Bedroom Reveal

This bedroom is super bittersweet to our hearts. This room holds so much story and beauty all in one space. Back when we purchased the building in the beginning of 2016, I was most excited about finishing out the bedrooms. Dark paneling covered the walls and yellow shag carpet haunted the floors. We first started by ripping out the carpet and placing hardwoods throughout. Painting the wood panel walls was one of the best decisions. In February of 2016, the worse happened. The master bedroom caught on fire one night, engulfing the entire bedroom in flames. After a traumatic experience, we uncovered the most beautiful treasure that now makes this space unique. The brick wall.
