Pleated IKEA Curtains- Master Bedroom
I've been slowly tackling finishing the master bedroom one projects after the next. First I finished our black dresser last week and then I was able to hang the rest of our pleated window curtains this week. Taylor and I both love the morning sun pouring into the bedroom (that's actually our favorite thing about this bedroom) so having curtains for decor purposes only was necessary.
I found these Ritva Curtains at IKEA and they were extremely affordable for the set of two (especially the length we needed for our 9' ceilings). I love that the curtains look like they're linen. Plus, they have a gorgeous pleating detail at the top- no hooks needed as the curtains have sewn in straps. They come with a tie back which reminded me of the gorgeous chateau curtains we saw over in France several years ago.
I snagged our curtain rods at K-Mart several years ago when they were going out of business in our area. I love the subtle distressing on the rod finials. I hung the curtains about 6-8" above our window trim just so that the bottom of the curtain could tickle the floor for a finished look.
I love how the white curtains pair with our light lime washed walls. The curtains soften the walls and look sophisticated with their pleated and tie back details.
Thanks for popping by, Alyssa
